Are you a life long learner?

Check out this great quote from Jason Tremblay on the importance of being a life long learner:

"Many people 'front-end' load their educations and think they have it covered.  They believe that because ten, twenty, or more years ago they went to college, or even to graduate school, that they have learned what they need to know about business.  They could not be more off base!

Just as you do not try to cram all of your trips to the dentist or all of your exercise classes into the years between ages 18 and 22 - why do people think you can do this with education?

Your 'degree in life' is an ongoing process.  It is comprised of your experiences, your relationships, and the educational opportunities you deliberately build into every year - every month of your life.

Seek workshops, bootcamps, and seminars to increase the breadth, depth, and up-to-dateness of your professional education.  Earn certifications in your industry to keep current, competitive, and confident."

What have you done this year to further educate yourself?

    That's a terrific topic!
Most of the people I know thinks the same way.

About myself, I've finished my MsC last year, and believe me, I was felting an empty sensation... so I'll start my PhD at MIT, next month of September.

    Let's wait

    Best regards.
