Great networking = Generosity

A good friend sent me some video clips of a networking expert named Keith Ferrazzi (you can find them by doing a keyword search on YouTube).  He gives some awesome practical advice on what networking is and how to be successful at it.  He is also the author of the bestselling book entitled, "Never Eat Alone."  I am currently reading his book (GREAT book by the way - Absolutely worth the read).  In it, he says people always ask him what the key to success is in life, and his response is one word: generosity.  All that we achieve and all that we help others do in life is through generosity.

My husband found a quote the other day that I absolutely love:
You can have everything in life you want, if you'll just help enough other people get what they want." - Zig Ziglar

Are you approaching networking with a spirit of generosity (freely giving your time, knowledge, etc.)?  Are you helping others get what they want?
