Are you a matchmaker of people?
My 30th birthday was probably the best birthday party I can recall in recent years. I invited a number of people from different friend groups, many of which had never met. Much to my surprise, by the end of the night, many of them had become fast friends and found that they had lots in common.
As a result, I try to make an effort to match up friends and associates that I think would either get along great or be able to help one another out in business. I also try to match "job seekers" up with friends looking to hire. It's something I enjoy doing and have found that it comes back around to help me as well.
Are you taking an active role to introduce people you know with one another? Are you helping expand other's networks and, in doing so, expanding your own circle of influence? If not, try to introduce two friends, colleagues, or associates this week that you think would find benefit from the introduction. You may be surprised by what comes out of it.

Again, great advice! I've added your blog to my RSS feeds, and look forward to reading future posts.
